How to use the Label Maker

  1. Pick a label size, or enter your own.
  2. Add text and a barcode to the label, and set where each one gets its content: fixed text, a spreadsheet column, or an incrementing number.
  3. Upload a CSV or Excel file (or just set a number of copies), then download the print-ready PDF or a ZIP of label images.

About this tool

Design a label once: drag on a barcode, some text and a logo, and lay them out however you like. Then print one sheet, or fill hundreds of labels at once from a CSV or Excel file, with one row becoming one label. An incrementing number field handles serial numbers, batch codes or asset tags automatically.

Start from a ready-made template for common A4 and US Letter label sheets, or a continuous roll for a thermal label printer, or set your own exact size. The finished sheet downloads as a print-ready PDF, or as a ZIP of individual label pictures for thermal printing software. Your design and your data stay on your device the whole time.

  • Ready-made A4, US Letter and thermal-roll templates, or a custom size
  • Text, barcodes and a logo picture, placed by dragging
  • Bulk-fill from a CSV or Excel file
  • Automatic incrementing numbers with a prefix, suffix and padding
  • Download a print-ready PDF or a ZIP of label images
  • Nothing is uploaded: 100% private

Frequently asked questions

Can I print labels from an Excel sheet?

Yes. Upload your .xlsx or .csv file, set each field to use the matching column, and one label is made for every row.

How do incrementing numbers work?

Set a field's content to "Incrementing number", then set the start number, step, minimum digits and an optional prefix or suffix in the sequence settings. Each label gets the next number automatically.

Does it support Avery label sheets?

Several common Avery and generic A4 layouts are built in. If yours is not listed, choose Custom size and enter your label's exact width and height.

Can I use a thermal label printer?

Yes. Choose one of the roll templates (or a custom roll size), which prints one label per page, or download the ZIP of images if your printer's own software prints pictures directly.

What barcode types can I use on a label?

The same types as the Barcode Generator: Code 128, EAN-13, UPC-A, QR Code, Data Matrix and more.
