What happens to transparency when I convert PNG to JPG?
JPG cannot store transparency, so see-through areas are filled with a solid colour. White is the default and you can pick any colour.
Does converting reduce the quality?
PNG is lossless. JPG and WebP are lossy, so a tiny amount of detail is lost. At the default quality the difference is not visible for normal photos.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no upload, so there is no fixed limit. Very large images (tens of megapixels) depend on your device memory.
